Challenge

The client had embarked on a rapid migration to the cloud, driven by a hard deadline to vacate their existing data centres and avoid significant financial penalties. The initial migration into Microsoft Azure was executed on time, however, the speed of the move didn’t allow for accurate provisioning of capacity. Many applications as part of this move were overprovisioned, resulting in unexpectedly high monthly cloud expenses.
