The client had a very complex, multi-tenant environment that was time consuming to manage and difficult to secure. After several discovery meetings to fully understand the client’s challenges and existing setup, the Natilik team determined that a solution from Abnormal Security would provide the protection required.
To evaluate the solution’s value and see it in action, the client embarked on a proof of value (POV). This provided a free, fast, and easy way to experience the benefits and ROI of Abnormal’s cloud email security solution. On the second day of the POV, the team discovered an ongoing malicious actor that had bypassed the existing email security system. The powerful technology highlighted an in-flight breach, and the team quickly deployed the live system across the client’s estate, protecting it from the attack within minutes.
Using data from the POV, Natilik and Abnormal Security developed a business case that enabled the client to showcase key findings including the operational and financial savings to be had from implementing the solution. This demonstrated the value of the solution to the wider business.
The client’s solution included Abnormal’s AI Security Mailbox, which automates the triage and response to user-reported emails, identifying and remediating malicious or spam messages. The final element was Abnormal’s Email Productivity, which filters out graymail, enhancing employee productivity by keeping inboxes free of distracting promotional emails.

Not only was the live attack discovered during the POV stopped, but within the first month of the solution’s implementation, over 1,500 additional threats were neutralised, and no accounts were compromised. This has protected the client from both financial and reputational damage.
Overall, the complex environment has been simplified, with all tenants streamlined under a single portal. This has improved the security of the client’s environment and made it significantly easier to manage, saving the team over 15 hours a month.
