A freshly prepared breakfast, Natilik Basecamp and a line-up of amazing speakers, what more could you want from a sunny Tuesday morning! On the 17th of July we had the pleasure of hosting yet another breakfast briefing for our clients, this time focusing on the latest developments in the Collaboration Market. Representatives from UC Today, Cisco, Broadsoft and Telstra took us through a number of incredibly informative discussions, including the launch of Webex teams, Broadsoft Acquisition and the growing world of Cloud Deployment.
The morning kickstarted with Rob Scott from UC Today sharing wisdom and analysis on the UC Marketplace. Focusing on the evolution of the ‘True Digital Worker’ and the development of a mixed reality meeting experience, Rob gave a fantastic insight into the growth of wearables and AI. It is safe to say the crowd were filled with anticipation of what’s to come.
Andy Williams, Cisco UK&I Head of Collaboration followed on, continuing the theme of new technology adoption and highlighting the costly effects of a fragmented approach to UC. Shedding light on Cisco’s collaboration vision, we saw their plans for a scalable, flexible and comprehensive subscription model. Pulling together under the focus of one core strategy, Andy walked us through the new functionality and branding of the Webex Teams, finishing off with some future innovation that will bring the meeting space to life even further.
Opening with the concept of ‘The Cloud is Now’, Jan Collins the UK and Ireland lead from Broadsoft, illustrated the impact of the Cisco acquisition and what’s in store in the near future. Leading the way within the UK hosted market, Cisco and Broadsoft plan to combine smooth migration and mobile capabilities to enhance the customer experience. We are excited to see where this new partnership leads.
James Townsend took the stage to update us on the advancement and growth of our Hosted Collaboration Partnership with Telstra. Aligning with Natilik and Cisco, James expanded on the Telstra offering using market dynamics and commentary to establish their place in the collaboration space. With an ever-expanding global reach, together we are building and investing within this strategic alliance to deliver a truly market leading service.
Our Collaboration Director Richard Godfrey concluded the session by talking us through Collaboration Flex Licensing and the Client Journey reminding us of Natilik’s expertise on everything from Licensing Workshops to Showcases and tailor-made migration options.
