Cisco is expanding the AI Assistant to Webex Calling, enhancing call workflows by providing live call transcriptions, summaries, and action items, allowing users to share these details when transferring calls, and review summaries post-call in the Webex App, with recorded call summaries now generally available.
Cisco AI assistant for IT
By automating workflows through enterprise app integrations, enhancing discussions with Glean’s knowledge graph, offering flexible LLM choices via Amazon Bedrock, and sharing summaries across platforms like Outlook, Teams, Copilot, and Slack.
AI summary for Webex Meetings
The widely-used message and summary translation feature in Webex, which has improved over 330K messages with AI Assistant, will soon enable users to translate AI-generated meeting summaries into 120+ languages during and after meetings.
Speaker identification
When joining meetings with your colleagues from the same room, you’ll now be able Identify the name of the right person in meeting summaries, instead of seeing the conference room name, ensuring every voice is heard.
Vidcast
New features like highlights, chapters, and transcripts enhance asynchronous video, while AI-generated Vidcast will soon enable users to upload PDFs or PPTs to automatically generate scripts and voice-overs in their preferred language and tone, saving time and improving the user experience.
Slido
Meeting participants can use AI to generate Slido polls during webinars and large meetings.
